Natural Remedies To Relieve Asthma

tulsi leafThere are little known home remedies that are believed to provide relief from common ailments such as asthma.

Natural remedies are an excellent way for people to save money and to avoid putting harsh chemicals into their bodies.

Individuals who suffer from asthma will try just about anything, if it will help open up their airways and allow them to live more active lives without the fear of having an attack.

These home remedies should be tried in addition to taking any prescribed medications or inhalers that have been prescribed by your physician. These methods should not be relied on to solely treat your asthma alone.

Asthma Home Remedies

A few simple techniques for warding off the effects of asthma involve the consumption of Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) leaves. When you feel an asthma attack coming on or are having trouble breathing you can use the Tulsi leaf in two specific ways.

First, you can mix the Tulsi leaves with an equal amount of honey to create a paste that you will then need to ingest. The second method will work much faster but is not as good tasting.

Take Tulsi leaves and cover them in black pepper and immediately consume them. Doing this will alleviate many common asthma related symptoms.

A Severe Asthma Attack Home Remedy

Taking a ripe banana and heating it up on the stove or in the microwave and sprinkling it with table pepper, has proven effective in subsiding major asthmatic attacks when eaten.

This is not a cure, but a means to alleviate pain and the general effects of a severe asthmatic attack.

This is one of the simplest methods available as these items are generally available in every kitchen.
