Dairy allergy is the response of the immune system to one or more of the proteins which are found in cow’s milk.
Dairy products are one of the most frequent food allergens. Most individuals will develop allergy on milk when they are infants and it can also be acquired later in their life.

Basically this dairy allergy can be treated in two ways they are: avoidance of the allergen and the symptomatic therapy.
Avoidance of the allergen is the process in which the food which causes allergy will be avoided. But, it is typical to know which food is causing allergy to you. Soy based formulas are available for infants with milk allergy.
People who are allergic to the milk must be extra vigilant because the processed foods may contain milk products, which are labeled as â€œseasoningsâ€ or â€œnatural flavoringsâ€.
Most frequently, an emergency medication named epinephrine (it will be available as twinject or epipen) is recommended for clearing allergy problems. You must be trained in how and when to administer these medications. If this medication is prescribed, you have to carry it all the times.
The various foods which cause dairy allergies and intolerances are cow’s milk, coffee whiteners, cereals, breath mints, potato chips, mayonnaise, processed meats, baby formula, salad dressings, dessert toppings, protein bars and powders.
If you have the allergy towards the dairy products then you should be choosy about the foods which include them. Most probably try to avoid the foods which contain dairy products in them.
