We probably all of us know someone who is severely allergic to something; and we are probably aware that some of us are even have food allergies some of which may be life threatening.
But this research got us to think a bit: do we perhaps blame too much on allergies? It is true that some among us are looking to blame allergies for certain conditions or intolerances?
Witness the number of parents for instance that rush to offer their children soymilk as a substitute for dairy milk the moment there is a hint of any indigestion or gas.
This is of course not to suggest that allergies are not real among a vast majority of sufferers, just a suggestion that perhaps we tend to blame too much on allergies and perhaps end up denying certain nutrients to our bodies.
